Her bright eyes locked onto his as he spoke, biting at the inside of her cheek softly as he shook her hand. Jade cleared her throat nervously before peering away from him, “So, uh, if ya’ don’ mind me askin’… how… old are you? Heh, I hate ta’ be rude, but from what I’ve heard…?” She shrugged her thin shoulders and offered a short chuckle. Being only 166 years old, Jade was still a young vampire — she had traveled all around the world and heard Godric’s name on numerous occasions and she hoped that this was really him.

Godric looked up in her face, a small smile on his lips. This one was pretty… and relatively young. “It seems, as if you have heard about me. And no, you are not ruse, pretty lady. I am well over 2000 years old. But I suspect you knew that already.”

As soon as he confirmed that he was the vampyre that she had thought, her smile lit up her features. A nervous chuckle escaped her lips and she nodded, “Well, I mean, I have heard stories about you before, amazing things of course — But I… I thought you had met tha’ sun? That may jus’ be rumor though. You know how stories get twisted over time.

Godric chuckled an shook his head slightly, smiling at her. “I guess you must have only heard a small portion of the whole picture. But yes, rumors seem to spread rather wide.” He wasn’t about to tell just anyone, that he in fact had returned from the sun. That just wasn’t a good topic to begin a conversation with. “May I ask, how old you are, Miss?”

I Think We Should Talk…[Godric]

“Because you’ve shown me kindness in the past and even though you have every right to hate my guts I figured I should try and extend the same kindness to you.” Her tone was unwavering, her shoulders squared. She knew what she was doing, even though she was the last person who could probably offer the vampire peace, she had to try.

For a while, Godric did not say anything. He just studied Jessica’s face, mostly her eyes, trying to figure out, if he could believe her. All he could find was deep honesty. Really, she did want to help him, though Godric could not understand why.
“I believe you”, he finally said, the tension finally leaving his body. “Yet I do not know, how you want to help me… I doubt anyone can.”
Godric shook his head and sighed, no longer looking at Jessica. Instead, his gaze was fixed on the ground.

She kept her distance, though her voice softened, “I can offer a shoulder to cry on? Someone you don’t have to be strong in front of.”

It was strange to him, how everyone seemed to want to be helping him, when in fact, Godric did not really feel like he needed help. At least not from the people he got offered it from.
“I…”
He looked up, his green eyes filled with the sadness of centuries.
“I don’t know, if that is possible”, he whispered.

I Think We Should Talk…[Godric]

As he walked into the warmly decorated living room she sagged for a moment against the door, resting her forehead against the wood before regaining her strength and shutting the door, “Well…I thought maybe we could just…Talk? I mean, we haven’t spoken in so long and I wanted to see how you’re doin’?” Her smile remained on her features, trying to seem as kind as possible.

Godric looked around a little, until he turned and watched Jessica intently. His features seemed to be carved out of stone, no emotions showing on his youthful face.
“Why do you care?”, he asked, his eyes studying her.
He could not really explain to himself, why Jessica would care that much. After all, she had, what she wanted. Yes, he was glad, that she was happy but again, he did not seem to be able to appreciate that feeling all too much.

Jessica sat in the kitchen of the house in Kisatchie Forest, running her fingers idly over the threads of the table cloth. She had sent for Godric, her time alone giving her plenty of time to think over her relationship and the repercussions it had upon Godric and even Sookie. Still, she knew her offenses were far more grave with the Elder Vampire and at this point, she wanted them handled once and for all. If Godric wanted to hate her forever, fine, but she needed to know how it was going to go.

After having received a not from Jessica, stating that she wished to speak with him, Godric’s first reaction was to curl himself up and not to leave this position ever again. He did that for a while, the crumbled piece of paper in his clenched fist.
Hours later, after over thinking everything, he sighed. What else was there than to accept this offer?
Hesitantly he left Eric’s house, following the instructions to Jessica’s whereabout.

Right at the door he hesitated once more, staring at the wall for a long time. What could this solve? Was this even smart?
Deciding that it could not make matters much worse, he lifted his hand and knocked on the door softly, his whole body tensed up as he waited for Jessica to open the door.

The guards were trained on the vampire as he stood on the stoop but didn’t move from their concealment. She waited, not wanting to spook him, for his knock. When it came she put on her warmest smile, taking a deep breath as she turned the knob, “Hey! I’m glad you got my message, I love my guards but sometimes I wonder if they stop my messages from gettin’ out.” she laughed lightly, trying to keep the mood light, “Won’t you come in?”

Shortly after he had knocked, the door opened and Jessica looked at him, a warm smile on her face. Godric did not return that smile, he only looked at her, studying her face. A trace of sadness was in his eyes because he knew, what he had put her through. Yet this feeling was not strong enough to overrule his own pain.
This time he did not hesitate and entered as he was invited.
“Thank you for the invitation. Yet I do not know, what there is left to talk about.”

Is this a date? [Sam/Godric]

shapeshiftersam:

“Oh well, the sports are sort of like the games people play with basketball and dodgeball. They have some playing on right now. It might just be interviews of the players, but come on I can show you,” he answered, waving him towards the back. He was thankful to have locked the door after Godric came in, so there was only turning off the light s and closing the back door to deal with.

“I know what it is. I just do not understand the fascination and obsession that comes with it. But yes, we can do that, I guess.”
Godric followed out into the night, breathing in deeply. The smell of the forrest was relaxing. He did not want to admit it to Sam, but shifter wasn’t really a smell he enjoyed much. At least it was better than were.
“Where do you live?”
